David brings a unique blend of utility operations experience and GIS education experience to creating and collecting GIS information. Since 1998 David has been employed in the fields of drinking water treatment and distribution and wastewater collection. He has experience in operating, maintaining and managing drinking water and wastewater systems. He has provided GIS consulting, map digitization and georeferencing, data collection, map creation, data conversion and radio read water meter installation services. He has completed over 1,000 miles of Pipeline Depth of Cover Surveys. David also studied the impact of development on groundwater supply wells using GIS based methods in his thesis titled "Quantitative assessment of the impact of residential rural development on groundwater recharge and pollution potential."
